This 2nd card is using the same set of stamps, again colored with Marvy markers and stamped on a hot air balloon cut out. It is glued to a piece of sky paper and attached to cardstock.

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. What with the holidays and being away from my computer, I've been remiss in adding. I have a new set of Posh stamps that I was playing with today, and here is what I came up with.

This is a pillar of sunflowers that I colored with Marvy markers, cut out and attached to a glossy black card. The quote is stamped with white Memories ink, and embossed with white embossing powder.

This first card is one made with Michael Strong's new cameo stamps. The leaves were made by taking a sage green paper, bleaching it and then using 3 autumn leaf colors, apply direct to paper. Cut out the leaves and draw in the veins using a colored pencil. The stems were made by using the same card stock cut into a strip, folded in half and cut out a narrow strip and attach to the back of the leaf.

The 2nd background was done quite by accident. Have you ever wondered what happens when you print on the wrong side of photo paper? It doesn't dry, and instead just smears. But, if you stop it soon enough, and apply a fixative, you wind up with a beautiful soft background. That's what happened here. Then I stamped Stamp-A-Mania's barn stamp with Brown Memories ink on a piece of sticker paper, cut it out and attached it to the background. I glued it to the inside front of this window card. I rather like the way it came out.

I was recently invited to join Stamp A Mania's Posh design team. Here are my first samples that I submitted. All stamps are Posh, designed by Dee Greunig, a most talented stamp designer. The single sunflower in a vase is on a half sheet of cardstock and the rest are standard 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (A2 size) cards.

Here are a few examples of recent cards that I made for a friend. She needed some cheer, and this was just the ticket for her. All cards were made from scraps, and took only minutes to make. This is the type of cards I really like to knock out at times. They use up scraps, and make someone feel so good.

Welcome....

I'd love to hear from you about your stamping projects, and I will share with you. I am a member of the Stamp A Mania Posh stamps design team. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about Posh stamps. I have attended classes with Dee Greunig, and love her style. Remember, you don't have to own a lot of stamps to be creative. Just go ahead and create. I look forward to hearing from everyone.
