FlipIt

I made this card for my niece's birthday a few months ago.  It is made with the Circle FlipIt die from Sizzix. The dies do everything for you, just pick out coordinating papers and you have a fun card.  Next time I'll try it with bright colors and flowers.

Keep Looking Up

Our sky viewing friend is celebrating his birthday today, and this is a fun picture we took many years ago when he was having problems with his motorhome.  I took the picture, printed it on photo paper and then did a custom paint job on the door and side of the motorhome.  Plus added the words "Keep Looking Up" as a fun card for him.

Baby Girl Onesie

I needed a card for a new baby girl and found the idea for this card on Pinterest.  It is a 4 1/4 by 5/12 base that I used a
1 3/4" circle die cut to cut out the neck and leg holes.  I then used a slightly larger scalloped circle die to make the lace.  I stamped the butterflies with Versamark ink and added 3 white rivets/snaps at the bottom to replicate the snaps and finished it off with the white bow.

Happy St. Patrick's day

The centerpiece for our dinner with friends tonight.  Daffodils are the perfect accompaniment to this cute little hat.  The directions are from Core'dinations card stock web site.

Projects, projects, projects

I have been busy making Christmas cards, which I will share later. I unofficially decided to follow the Christmas Card Challenge on SplitCoast Stampers and complete 5 cards a month between January and November.  It is working out well, so that I can relax and not sweat it out to get my cards completed in time to mail out this year.

Wedding Card

I made this card for a niece's wedding last month.  I cased a card that I made in Michael Strong's class for white on white.  It is made with flat and pearl white cardstock and the box folds perfectly flat for mailing.  The large flowers were punched using Tonic 2 part dimensional punches.  I love how they come out.
